visit Emerald Hill. It is a great place to stroll around - quite peaceful and evocative. Nestled just a stone’s throw away from the hustle and bustle of Orchard Road, this is a tranquil, nostalgic and pleasant neighbourhood. Admire the architecture and imagine what life here would have been like in its heyday when the affluent Peranakan (Straits-Chinese) community resided here. Come for the beautiful and unique architecture, or maybe a drink at one of the trendy bars?
